KP & CO Case Study: Why we chose aspiring panda as our cloud storage provider

We spoke to KP & Co about their challenges with secure storage and the importance of keeping their client’s data safe. They turned to Aspiring Panda for an effective cloud storage solution that would meet their objectives of protecting their data and assets from any potential external threats.

We have known the company founders for several years, following a chance meeting at a networking event and we also provide accounting services to them. This prior relationship meant that when our accountancy firm KP & Co were looking to move from external servers to cloud services, AP was the first and only choice.

At the time all our data was being held on the C Drive, and we were looking for external servers as an alternative solution. Since we knew of the potential risks of our data being compromised on our internal servers, we were advised that cloud storage would ultimately be the most suitable solution for us.

We have that peace of mind that all our client data is secured and backed up and most importantly we are at much less risk of security breaches.

We are always working with sensitive client financial data that increases on a daily basis so having that information in the cloud provided an extra layer of security. Naturally, the cloud storage capacity will have to increase as our business grows and we expect Aspiring Panda to make that process a straightforward one.

This is the first time we have ever used cloud storage for the business and whilst it’s only been 8 months, we are very happy with the services that has been provided and haven’t experienced any issues.The transfer of client data was a smooth transition without any losses helped by the fact that all data is automatically mirrored and synchronised on the cloud. As we work in a serviced office, we were mindful of any potential breaches on the shared network but fortunately the whole implementation took just 4-6 weeks. Aspiring Panda ensured we had practical training to fully understand the cloud and access the data whenever and wherever we want. Additionally, any technical issues were very quickly resolved by the support team who were on hand 24/7.
